Property Summary

Chief is the co-owner and was the co-developer in the high profile and successful commercial real estate development in the West Haymarket area of Lincoln, Nebraska. The project, The Railyard on Canopy Street, included unsurpassed experience in public/private partnerships through the completion of The Railyard, Canopy Lofts, Hyatt hotel and other developments near Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Chief partnered in the original vision and leadership in the development. This included conceptual and schematic design, selection of design consultants, contractor oversight, redevelopment agreements with the city of Lincoln, and assistance in retail and housing leasing. Project oversight to ensure project scope, timeline and overall vision were met. West Haymarket is part of an eight-block expansion of Lincoln’s popular Historic Haymarket District.

Public and private investors are converting over 400 acres of underutilized railroad property on the western edge of the Haymarket District into an active entertainment and living district on the doorstep of the new Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Railyard on Canopy Street is Lincoln, Nebraska’s premier entertainment district located across the street from the Pinnacle Bank Arena. This vibrant venue features 13+ restaurants and bars, live entertainment, a public market, the Cube mega screen and Lincoln's first outdoor entertainment area. Canopy Lofts and the Hyatt hotel are adjacent to The Railyard and provide high-end living and comfortable lodging with direct, pedestrian-friendly access to restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment.
